Introducing CloudConnector

CloudConnector is a Google Apps Script that allows a SOQL query to be executed from a Google Spreadsheet and display the results.  I released the first version of this script under the MIT license and posted it to github a couple of weeks ago.  The source can be found here: https://github.com/gidzone/cloudconnector. Please feel free to fork and enhance the code as you see fit.  Installation instructions can be found in the readme.

This script is currently being reviewed by google to be posted in it’s app scripts gallery for easy installation.  Stay tuned for a future post on how to use this tool.

    Sanjay,

Can you please post few examples on how to use this work? I am very new to SF, but would like to get this to work.

Question: It seems like we need our SF admin to setup a 2-Legged OAuth token to make this work. Is there a way to use a 3-Legged OAuth for this?

    Hey Saqib,

I am working on a how to which i’ll have up in the next few days. Also, right now it is not using OAuth just simple Username + Password authentication. OAuth is on the road map.

    Thanks for checking this out.

    Sanjay,

I would be most interested in seeing some examples that use 3-Legged OAuth.

    Thanks,
    Saqib
